These horses are currently being evaluated, trained or conditioned. By giving each horse a MINIMUM 30 days of evaluation under saddle, on the ground, with other horses, dogs, kids, and in the barn we are able to best match horse and rider. Any horse that exhibits vices or issues with attitude or soundness will not be placed until those issues can be addressed. We DO take deposits on horses during the evaluation period. If issues arise during evaluation that make the horse unsuitable the deposit can be applied towards another horse. Please read the complete Deposit and Adoption Fee policy for all the details regarding deposits, refunds, when adoption fees are to be paid in full and boarding fees for horses needing to stay at CHC more than one week after adoption.
