Topeka is a lovely grulla paint mare, 8 years old, 14.1 hh. Topeka is another recipient mare that is transitioning back into riding. Only a few leave the feedlot with us, but Topeka was sensible, picked up her feet politely and took a rider. That was enough to get a ticket onto our trailer and a ride back to CHC. She is sound, no stall vices, gets along well with other horses. We have been slowly working with her to get her back to riding. First bareback and then saddled, it's a process but she is doing well!
