Belgian mare, 20 years old, 17.1 hh. Dottie is among the fortunate few who got a ride back to CHC. While she is older, she is still serviceably sound, so she will have more placement options than most of the drafts we see. Dottie is sweet but opinionated. Think of a spicy grandma who wants to get to bingo. Dottie may have her own opinions, but she does ride quietly. Goes saddled or bareback, not hot or spooky—no stall vices. Sound for light riding. We have not tried to drive her yet, but I think it's a safe bet she knows how. Dottie takes a rider, stands politely in the cross ties, and is easy to catch. See if a Belgian belongs in your barn!
